Ex-Laxmipur MP Khurshid Alam passes away

Laxmipur former BNP lawmaker Chowdhury Khurshid Alam passed away at a hospital in Dhaka early Sunday at the age of 82.

He died around 1:30am at United Hospital while undergoing treat there.

Laxmipur-2 Constituency lawmaker Nuruddin Chowdhury Nayan, BNP publicity secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie and former principal of Laxmipur Government College Prof Mainuddin Pathan have expressed deep shock at death of Khurshid Alam.

Alam was the former Principal of Laxmipur College (Government College) and the first Chairman of Laxmipur Zilla Parishad. He was former Laxmipur district BNP president.
