A murder case has been filed against 11 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, over the death of Md Abdur Rahim, a former deputy assistant director (DAD) of the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR), who died in prison.
Advocate Abdul Aziz, son of Abdur Rahim, filed the case on Sunday with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Akhtaruzzaman.
Other accused in the case include former Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and former Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed, and Mosharraf Hossain Kajol, and the lawyer for the Pilkhana mutiny case.
Abdur Rahim, a veteran freedom fighter, was an accused in the BDR mutiny case.
