Ex-BCL leader Nishita arrested in Dhaka

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) police have arrested Nishita Iqbal Nodi, former vice-president of the banned student organization Chhatra League’s Dhaka University (DU) Shamsunnahar Hall unit.

She was arrested in a raid in the capital’s Bhatara police station area on Saturday (December 14) night.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Mallick confirmed the matter.

He said Nishita Iqbal Nodi has been arrested on specific allegations and information. There are multiple cases against her.
