Technical glitch after take off, Biman flight returns to Ctg airport

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines, arriving from Dubai, returned to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong, shortly after take-off on Thursday morning due to a technical malfunction.

Flight BG 148, with 287 passengers on board, departed for Dhaka at 8:37AM but had to return shortly afterward due to a technical fault, landing safely back at the airport at 8:58AM.

The aircraft is currently stationed at Bay No. 8 of the airport. All passengers are reported to be safe.

According to Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, Public Relations Officer at Shah Amanat International Airport, the airline arranged for all affected passengers to be accommodated on another flight, BG-122, which departed for Dhaka at 10:50AM.
