Ex-industries minister Nurul Majid dies

Former Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun passed away on Monday morning at the age of 75.

He breathed his last around 8:10am while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), confirmed Md Faruk, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.

Humayun had fallen ill at the central jail on Sunday afternoon and was admitted to the hospital, Faruk said, quoting physicians. As his condition deteriorated, he was moved to the ICU, where he later died.
