NCP leaders visit Evercare to enquire about Khaleda’s health condition

Leaders of Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) went to Evercare Hospital on Saturday to enquire about the health condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

They went to the hospital at 10AMand spoke with the hospital doctors.

The delegation included Tasnim Jara, senior joint member secretary of NCP; Nasiruddin Patwari, chief coordinator; and Hasnat Abdullah, chief coordinator (south).

Later, speaking to reporters, they urged the people of the country to pray for the BNP chief’s speedy recovery.

In a Facebook post, Nasiruddin Patwari wrote, ”Begum Khaleda Zia’s condition remains critical but stable. Alhamdulillah, she is able to follow the instructions of doctors and nurses. In this difficult moment, we humbly request everyone to pray for her. Your sincere dua is the strongest support she needs right now.”

Khaleda, 80, has long been suffering from multiple health complications, including heart problems, liver and kidney issues, diabetes, lung problems, arthritis and eye-related illnesses.

She has a permanent pacemaker and previously underwent stenting of her heart.
