Tarique Rahman’s flight reaches Sylhet

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, who is now on his way to Dhaka from London, reaches Sylhet on Thursday morning.

The flight, carrying him, reached Sylhet’s Osmani International Airport at about 9:55AM. He is accompanied by his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman and their only daughter Zaima Rahman.

After an one-hour stopover at the airport, the flight will start for Dhaka and scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:50AM.

Senior leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party are expected to receive him upon arrival.

After arrival in Dhaka, Tarique is scheduled to briefly address party leaders, supporters, and the nation near the 300 Feet area of the capital, where thousands gathered.

A bulletproof bus has already arrived at the CIP gate of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport amid heightened security ahead of the return of Tarique Rahman.
