Three service chiefs meet Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

The chiefs of three armed forces paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday morning.

After reaching his office, the prime minister held a meeting with the chiefs of the three armed forces — Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Md Nazmul Hassan, and Air Force Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister held separate meetings with the Directors General of National Security Intelligence (NSI) and Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister visited the Bangladesh Secretariat for the second consecutive day. He entered the Secretariat at 9:10am on Thursday.

During his visit, he is scheduled to attend an inter-ministerial meeting on the Family Card programme, an initiative aimed at supporting low-income households.
