JCD leader held in Moulvibazar

police arrested a local Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader from Shamshernagar Road area of the district town on Saturday night in connection with a case for assaulting police.
The arrested man is identified as–Kamal Hossain, 38, son of Abdul Mannan, a resident of Baronti village of sadar upazila and a joint convener of Moulvibazar district unit Chhatra Dal.
On secret information, police conducted a drive around 11pm and arrested Kamal.
Moulvibazar Model Police Station officer in-charge Abdus Salek confirmed the news.
