Bangla Trac Group founder Aminul Huque passes away

Bangla Trac Group founder, group chairman and former chairman of Prime Bank Limited Aminul Huque passed away in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Aminul Huque was also the founder of Bangla Trac Group’s business establishments.

Aminul Huque was born in 1940. He got his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1962. He was involved in businesses of various sectors including bank, financial institutions, service sectors, production sectors etc. He also contributed to different social sectors.

He served as chairman of Prime Bank Limited from June 1, 2001 to May 31, 2002.

Bangla Trac founded by Aminul Huque involves in marketing various construction equipment, diesel and gas engines and generators manufactured by globally renowned Caterpillar Incorporation of the United States.

“Aminul Huque’s immeasurable and immortal contribution and support towards our nation and community will always be remembered. We express profound grief and extend heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rests in peace,” said a press release issued by Bangla Trac Group.
