Shakib’s annual income Tk 5.5cr, bank loan Tk 32cr

Awami League-nominated candidate from Magur-1 constituency Shakib Al Hasan has provided information on his income and expenditure by submitting an affidavit to the office of the district returning officer ahead of the upcoming 12th national elections.

Shakib, captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team across all formats, showed his annual income at Tk 5,55,71,262 in the affidavit. On the other hand, he showed his bank loan at Tk 31,98,61,382 against the collateral.
Mohammad Abu Naser Beg, district returning officer and also Magura deputy commissioner, confirmed the matter on Monday.

Shakib mentioned himself as a cricketer, and his educational qualification is BBA.
