COVID-19 claimed one more life during the last 24 hours as of Tuesday morning, raising the number of fatalities to 29,482 across the country.
The deceased from the viral disease was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital who aged between 71 to 80.
In addition, the number of infected people from the disease is also increasing day by day as 57 more cases were reported during this time.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 935 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 6.10 percent.
Besides, the country’s total number of coronavirus cases reached 20,47,108 and the total number of recoveries was 20,14,408, it said.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
