Members of Bangladesh Army have been deployed on Tuesday to protect the flood-affected Boroikandi power substation in Sylhet, where around 700,000 people are still stranded amid continuous rain.
General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, the Chief of Army Staff, deployed the troops at the request of the Sylhet City Corporation.
