Govt directs to shut mobile internet services

The government has ordered to shut mobile internet services as violence centering non-cooperation movement of the Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement spread to the country.

“A direction to stop 4G services came to us,” a top official of mobile phone operator informed this to media on Sunday.

It was learned that after 1pm on Sunday, all mobile operators have shut mobile internet services.
