Dr Farid Hossain made new director of DGHS

Dr Farid Hossain Miah has been appointed as the Director (Hospitals and Clinics) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

It was stated in a press release signed by Dur-Ray-Shahwaz, Deputy Secretary, Department of Health Education and Family Welfare (Par-1 Wing) on Tuesday.

Prior to this, Dr Farid Hossain Miah worked as the Chairman of Pharmacology Department at Faridpur Medical College Hospital.

He completed MBBS from Rangpur Medical College. Then he joined BCS Health cadre and completed higher course from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
