6 fugitives held in Sunamganj

Police arrested six fugitives with arrest warrants at Shantiganj upazila Sunamganj district on Sunday.

A team of Shantiganj Police Station conducted an operation in different areas across the upazila and arrested them.

The arrested individuals are Amir Uddin, 39, from Joykolos village under Joykolos Union; Abdur Rup,44, from Gazinagar village under Patharia Union; Abdul Kadir, 31, and Abdur Rob, 48; Kalam Mia, 41, from Ronsi village under Purba Pagla Union; and Shibul Mia, 26, from Saperkona village in Paschim Birgaon Union in the upazila.

Shantiganj Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Akram Ali said that the arrested individuals have been produced before court.
