72 more arrested for vandalism, looting during nationwide anti-Israel protests

Police arrested 72 additional individuals in connection with vandalism and looting during anti-Israel protests that occurred in several cities on Monday.

These arrests were made over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people detained to 121 over the past two days.

The latest arrests include 33 in Khulna, 19 in Sylhet, five in Chattogram, and four each in Gazipur, Narayanganj, Cox’s Bazar, and three in Cumilla. Ten cases have been filed, and authorities are continuing to investigate the incidents. They are reviewing video footage from the protests to identify further suspects and plan to file additional cases.

Police have assured that operations will persist until all those responsible for the violence and property damage are apprehended.
