Chinmoy shown arrested in 4 more cases

Former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari was shown arrested in four more cases.

The order was issued by Chittagong Metropolitan magistrate SM Alauddin Mahmud after the investigation officers of the cases submitted applications to the court to show him arrest in the cases.

Chinmoy Das was connected virtually from Chittagong jail during the hearing for security purpose. However, no lawyer was present on his behalf.

Earlier on Monday, Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate SM Alauddin passed an order to show Chonmoy arrested in in lawyer Saiful Islam Alif murder case.

Chinmoy Das is currently in jail in connection with a sedition case filed with Kotwali Police Station over alleged desecration of the national flag during a political rally.
