The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started a probe against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina for amassing wealth illegally.
An investigation team has been formed by the commission on Sunday in this regard. The ACC deputy director Masudur Rahman has been made the chief of this committee, according to ACC’s top sources.
The investigation team will uncover the truth about Sheikh Hasina’s immovable and movable assets and income tax documents.
The ACC has alreadu conducting multiple investigations related to plot fraud, money laundering and looting of project funds.
Meanwhile, the court issued an arrest warrant against Sheikh Hasina after submitted a chargesheet in the Purbachal plot fraud case.
