Staff protest at Secretariat, submit memos to advisers

Bangladesh Secretariat staff have staged a protest demanding the repeal of the Public Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.

Around 11AM, a short rally and procession, led by the Bangladesh Secretariat Employees Unity Forum organisation’s co-chairman Nurul Islam, were held at the Secretariat’s Badamtola. They were then raised different slogans–‘Illegal black law should be banned,’ ‘We will not accept that black law’.

Later, they went to Food adviser R Imam Majumder to submit a memorandum.
