Gold price increased again, now Tk 217,382 per bhori

Gold prices have been raised again, with the price of 22-carat gold now set at Tk 217,382 per bhori (11.664 grams); an increase of Tk 1,050.

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the hike in a press release issued Sunday night, stating that the new rate will come into effect from Monday.

According to BAJUS, the price adjustment was made in response to a rise in the local market rate of pure (tejabi) gold.
