Shaheed Hadi’s brother appointed 2nd secy at Bangladesh Mission in UK

The government has appointed Omar Bin Hadi, brother of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, as second secretary on a contractual basis at Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The appointment was confirmed through a notification issued on Thursday (15 January) by Contract and Foreign Appointment Wing of Ministry of Public Administration.

Signed by Joint Secretary Abul Hayat Md Rafiq, the notification stated that Omar Bin Hadi’s appointment is subject to the condition that he relinquishes any other profession, business or employment with government, semi-government or private institutions or organisations.

According to the notification, he has been appointed for a three-year term, which will take effect from the date he assumes office.

The remaining terms and conditions of the appointment will be governed by the contractual agreement.
