Tarique Rahman pays courtesy call on NCP convener Nahid Islam

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman visited the residence of Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) Convener and MP-elect Nahid Islam on Sunday night for a goodwill meeting, party sources said, aimed at fostering post-election political harmony and positive engagement.

Tarique arrived at Nahid’s residence at 5 Circuit House Road in the capital around 8:27 PM and was received by NCP leaders.

Earlier, at approximately 7:00 PM, the BNP chairman had visited Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman’s residence.

According to party sources, the courtesy calls focused on discussing the post-election situation, promoting political coexistence, and exploring prospects for future cooperation.
