Ramisa was brutally violated before killing, confirms report

DNA profiling has confirmed that Sohel Rana committed the rape. Ramisa has been strangled after rape.

The autopsy report of the child and the DNA samples of the child and the accused were handed over to the investigation officer on Saturday (May 23).

Accused Sohel Rana’s wife, Swapna, has also been brought before the tribunal in connection with the case.

Preparation is being on to submit the chargesheet of the case before the court by Sunday afternoon as per the direction of the government.

Meanwhile, the main accused in the case, Sohel Rana, confessed to the crime in court on Wednesday. In his statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, he claimed that he had consumed Yaba before the incident.
