First-day voting of the two-day Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) election began on Wednesday morning amid some tense situations. As some 3,000 ballot papers were torn on Tuesday night, uncertainty loomed whether the election to the SCBA will be held or not. The voting began at 10am. Only Awami League-backed lawyers were seen.
