24,690 tons rice from India arrives at Ctg Port

Indian vessel MV Tanais Dream, carrying 24,690 tons of parboiled rice, arrived at Chittagong Port on Thursday morning. The vessel anchored at the seaport around 10AM. It is the first batch of rice imports from India since Dr Muhammad Yunus-led interim government assumed office. The unloading will begin after collecting samples of the rice.
