Two drug peddlers held

Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 25bottles of Indian contraband phensidyl in their possession on the Lamabazar and Moglabazar-Sylhet on Wednesday afternoon. The arrested are Abdul hamid and Alauddin, On a tip-off, a team of police led by Sub-Inspector S Sorkar coming from Lamabazar and Moglabazar area and arrested them.

Tea Labour commits ‘suicide’ in Sylhet

A Tea Lobur allegedly committed suicide at Tarapur Tea Garden Gohorpur in Sylhet on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Romas bumish, 27, Son of Shitol bumish, a resident of the Tarapur Tea Garden.
