The 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will act as the inspiration chained and
subjugated people of across the world. The composer of Immortal Ekushe song, Journalist and
Columnist, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury said this in a meeting held in Monte fiore Centre in East London
on 7th of March. The meeting was organised by Agrani Research, a social research organisation,
based in the UK.
While inaugurating the seminar on 7th March and organisation’s website, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury
also said that 7th March’s speech was the declaration of independence.
The seminar was presided over by Freedom Fighter Ajijul Kamal and Jamal Ahmed Khan conducted
it.
Other guests who addressed the audience included President of UK Awami League Sultan Mahmud
Sharif, Vice-President Abul Hashem, Freedom Fighter Khalil Kazi OBE, President of UK Women’s
Awami League Khaleda Qureshi, Senior Vice-President Hosne Ara Motin, Community Leader Azad
Bhakht Chowdhury, Freedom Fighter Ahbab Chowdhury, Ferdous Kabir Tipu, Arifur Rahman,
Pushpita Gupta and others.
Former councillor and Managing Director of Agrani Research, Nuruddin Ahmed said that to he took
this initiative of opening this website to introduce the virtuous life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman and to draw attention to the true history of our liberation war to the next generations. He
also said that he and his team members are proud to include the 7th March speech and the history of
it in their website.
