Tower Hamlets Speaker hosts charity dinner

Tower Hamlets Speaker Abdul Mukith Chunu MBE hosted a charity dinner at Brady Art Centre on 8th March.
Speaker Consort Mrs Fatima Chowdhury organised the charity dinner which also observed the International Women’s Day.  Executive Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs was present as Chief Guest at the dinner.
Fund which was gathered from the charity dinner would be given to Physical disability charity Surjomukhi and mental health Charity Minds.
Around 150 guests were present at the dinner.  Speaker Abdul Mukit Chunu welcomed the guests with his speech.
Executive Mayor John Biggs expressed his gratitude to everyone for taking part in the charity dinner.
Fund was also collected from Raffle Draw and auction.
Cllr Rachel Saunders, Farhana Jaman, Lovely Begum, Liza Ahmed, Lutfa Rahman and Rebecca Chowdhury co-operated hugely in organising the event.
Others who supported the event included Pride of Asia, London Tea Exchange, Mumbai Square, Enice Saloon, Tracy Mandal and Ruby Mahera.
