Youth ‘commits suicide’ in Sylhet

A young man reportedly committed suicide at Golapganj upazila in Sylhet district on Saturday morning.

The dead was Shahed Ahmed, 35, a resident of Nalua village under Bagha union of the upazila.

Locals said the young man committed suicide by hanging himself in his room early in the morning as his wife divorced him.

Later, being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
