Bangladesh advance three steps in updated FIFA rankings

Bangladesh National Football team has performed well in the recently held SAFF Championship. After 14 years, the men in red-green confirmed semifinal match beating Maldives and Bhutan.

In the semifinal match, Bangladesh performed magnificently against Kuwait. But finally they were defeated by Kuwait.
Due to tremendous performance, Bangladesh advanced three steps in the updated FIFA rankings.

Earlier, the position of Bangladesh was 192 in the FIFA rankings.
