Indian visa centre in Dhaka reopens

The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Dhaka has been operational after being temporarily closed due to security concerns.

The Indian High Commission confirmed the development on Thursday (December 18) morning, saying visa services at the centre resumed as normal.

Earlier on Wednesday, a platform named ‘July Unity’ announced a ‘March to Indian High Commission’ programme under its banner. Then the Indian Visa Application Centre closed at 2PM in view of the ongoing security situation.
