Karmasangsthan Bank holds business review meeting in Sylhet

Karmasngsthan Bank organised business review meeting-2026 on Saturday as part of the 90-day special programme at Rainbow Guest House in Sylhet with participation from all regional managers, branch managers, and second officers.

Chairman of the bank and former secretary, AFM Matiur Rahman, attended the event as chief guest, said a press release.

Managing director Arun Kumar Chowdhury and general manager Md Amirul Islam attended the event as special guests.

Deputy general manager of Sylhet Divisional Office, Khaled Mohammad Jahangir, presided over the event, while deputy general manager of the Law, Research, and Development Department at the Head Office, Manoj Roy, also attended the event.

Matiur Rahman emphasised the importance of focusing on quality credit disbursement and nurturing sustainable entrepreneurs.

He urged everyone to harness collective efforts, responsibility, and sincerity to enhance performance across all business indicators in the Sylhet Division.

Arun Kumar highlighted the critical need to increase loan recovery rates and expand the overall loan portfolio.

He called for intensified recovery efforts for classified, defaulted, and written-off loans.

He concluded by urging all officials to work together with professionalism and accountability to achieve 100 per cent of the targets set by the Head Office.
