NRB bank runs accounts and products promotions workshops in London and Manchester

NRB Bank Ltd organised an accounts and products promotions workshop which started on 14th March and will end on 27th of March.  Chairman of NRB Bank Iqbal Ahmed OBE, other directors and sponsor shareholders were present at the inauguration of the workshop.  The workshop took place in Bangladesh Welfare Association office in East London and also in Manchester.
The workshop promoted Foreign Currency Accounts and Taka Accounts to non residents Bangladeshis and encouraged non resident Bangladeshis to invest in Bangladesh.
Deputy Managing Director Zeeshan Hasib and acting Head of Brand and Communication MD Towfiqul Alam Chowdhury were present to answer any questions at the workshop.
Over a hundred people attended the London workshop and likewise the Manchester work shop who showed genuine interest in taking up accounts with the NRB Bank and investing in Bangladesh.
While addressing the guests, the Chairman Iqbal Ahmed OBE mentioned that they hope to run this type of workshops in future and possibly setting up a permanent base in the London also encouraged for people to invest in Bangladesh as it is a growing, safe and secure economy with great potential.
NRB Bank started its commercial operation in 2013. The Main Branch in Dhaka was inaugurated by Robert W Gibson CMG, The British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed OBE, Founder Chairman, NRB Bank Limited, Mr. Muklesur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of NRB Bank Limited and other senior officials of Bank & local distinguished guests were also present, it is reported that the Bank has a strong presence in the Bangladesh Banking sector and is expected to stand out with unique products and facilities for customers.
