Asia Cup final faces bad weather risk

Heavy rain and stormy weather before over an hour of starting nation’s most desired and expected Asia Cup final match between inspired Bangladesh and confident India likely to be washed out and trophy would be shared among the two finalists.

Heavy rain started around 6:00pm on Sunday evening and minutes after wild wind threshed out electricity of the Shere Bangla National Stadium in city’s Mirpur that led flad lights dead the venue of the final match, said a viewer form the stadium.

Following convincing wins in three straight games, including victories against the likes of Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Bangladesh look more confident of continental supremacy through winning the final match.

On the contrary, five-time Asian champions India are favourites to win their sixth title though.

Thousands of the red and green faithful are buzzing with anticipation in the stadium while hundreds of spectators could not enter in to the stadium due to the rain. They took shelters under shops, market and restaurants outside the venue.
