Mahfuj Alam appointed information adviser

Mahfuj Alam has been appointed as the adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus has appointed him on Wednesday.

The Cabinet Division published a gazette notification in the afternoon confirming the development.

However, the chief adviser has taken responsibility of the Ministry Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

Earlier on Tuesday, Nahid Islam resigned from the advisory council.
