Youth’s body recovered in Sylhet railway station

Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from Sylhet Railway Station on Saturday.

Railway authorities spotted the body near the public toilet of the station and informed the police around 4:00 PM.

Later, a police team arrived at the scene and recovered the body, said Sylhet Railway Police Station Sub-inspector (SI) Md Mehedi Hasan Khan.

The cause of the death and the identity of the deceased were yet to be known, said the SI.

No injury marks were found on the deceased’s body and it was sent to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, he added.
