
Trinidad and Tobago, April 6, 2026: An exchange meeting was held with the leaders of the Islamic Mission Guild of the Caribbean and South America (IMGCASA), one of the prominent Dawah organizations in the Caribbean and South American region. The meeting was organized on Sunday (April 5) with a visiting British-Bangladeshi delegation from London.
The guests were welcomed by the organization’s President Imtiaz Mohammad, Medina-certified Imam Sheikh Mohammad Monaf, Trustee Director Redwan Mohammad, and other leaders.
The delegation from London included: former Principal of London East Academy, repeatedly elected President of the Muslim Community Association, author and researcher Dr. Musleh Faradi; former President of the London Bangla Press Club and President of East End Charity, journalist Nobab Uddin; former President of the UK’s largest youth organization Young Muslim Organization and former President of East London Mosque, Ayub Khan; former Director of East London Mosque and former President of Islamic Forum Europe, Dilowar Hossain Khan; practicing barrister at the UK High Court, author, and constitutional expert Barrister Nazir Ahmed; Lecturer at Havering College and Councillor of Redbridge Council, Dr. Jamal Uddin; Chief Executive of Brit College and former Treasurer of East London Mosque, Musaddiq Ahmed; lifetime member of London Bangla Press Club and finance expert Bab-ul-Haq; Head of Asset and Operations at East London Mosque, Asaduzzaman Mohammad Zaman; Chairman of Dagenham Community Forum and community figure Suhel Siraji; and writer and columnist, Managing Director of LB24, Editor-in-Chief of Euro Bangla, and President of London Education Trust, journalist Mohammad Abdul Munim Jahedi Karol.
At the meeting, the activities of IMGCASA were presented. The organization has long been working in the Caribbean and South America to promote Islam, expand education, and contribute to social development. In particular, it maintains strong and deep relationships with Muslim communities in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname.
The organization’s main activities include Dawah work, educational development, social services, strengthening international connections, and fostering Muslim unity. In addition, their Hajj and Umrah management is highly organized, enabling many pilgrims to perform Hajj and Umrah each year.
The guests also visited the organization’s approximately six-acre campus, which is surrounded by natural beauty and received high praise from all attendees.
Later, a reception was held in honor of the guests at an upscale restaurant. In a friendly atmosphere, discussions were held on organizational matters, Dawah activities, future plans, and various issues concerning the Muslim world. Also present were notable Dawah activists Monowar Ali, Asim Abdullah, Sharifa Abdullah (working with the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP), Arshad Ali, and others.
Leader of the British-Bangladeshi delegation, Dilowar Hossain Khan, thanked the organizers and said, “This event is not just a formal meeting, but has created a unique bond of mutual understanding and goodwill.”
The attending guests expressed deep appreciation for the organizers’ sincerity, hospitality, and warm behavior. They expressed hope that such initiatives would further strengthen mutual cooperation in the future.
