BKMEA, Pakistan envoy discuss commercial collaboration

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) President Mohammad Hatem and Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider held a meeting at BKMEA office in the capital on Sunday.

Several BKMEA directors were also present on the occasion, said a press release.

Discussions focused on organising activities under the MoU between BKMEA and Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA) and joint business to business meetings.

During the meeting, BKMEA president invited Pakistani companies to participate in the upcoming Bangladesh International Textile, Knitting and Garment Industry Exhibition scheduled for January 2027 in Dhaka, to deepen supply chain synergies between the two countries.

The high commissioner assured the BKMEA president of all possible cooperation to enhance bilateral trade and commercial collaboration.
