To mark Bangladesh Independence, popukar singers Raja and Rubayyat have released a patriotic Bengali song called ‘Tomake Balobashi – O Amar Desh.’
Following Rubayyat’s previous release,’ Donno Ami Dhonno Mago’ featuring a number of UK Bangladesh singers that went on to become a big hit, the singers hope their new song will also be received well making it a hit worldwide. It is an established trend in Bengali music is to release songs marking national days commemorating historical days and events. The current song to mark 44th independence of Bangladesh was penned by London based poet Dilu Nasir.
The song has been composed and arranged by Raja and Rubayyat. Due for release this Thursday it will have a beautifully shot lavish video made on locations around London and the southeast and makes extensive use of the Shohid Minar in Altab Ali Park as a backdrop. Minhaj Kibria of Adworks has shot, edited and directed the video.
Hillside Travel Agency, Royal Regency Banqueting Suite and Smile Productions are sponsors of this song. The song will later form a collection due for release in coming months.
