SSC results published with 68.45pc pass

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2025 were published across the country on Thursday (July 10). The average pass rate is 68.45 per cent.

A total of 1,39,032 students under 11 education boards achieved GPA-5, which dropped by over 40 thousand from last year.

The pass rate has dropped by 14.59 per cent compared with last year.

According to the Education Ministry, the average pass rate under 11 education boards across the country stands at 68.45 percent, a sharp decline from 83.04 per cent recorded in 2024.

The pass rate of Rajshahi board is 77.33 per cent, which is the highest of all, Jashore board is 73.69 per cent, Chittagong board 72.07 per cent, Sylhet board 68.57 per cent, Dhaka board 67.51 per cent, Dinajpur board 67.03 per cent Cumilla board 63.60 per cent, Mymensingh board 58.22 per cent and Barishal board 56.38 per cent.

This year, 19,28,181 students took part in the SSC and equivalent exams held between April 10 and May 22. Of them, a total 14,90,142 registered under nine general education boards, while 2,94,726 under the Madrasa Education Board and 1,43,313 under the Technical Education Board.

Like other years, there was no ceremony during which summaries and statistics of the exams were handed over to the head of government before the results were published.
