pistol recovered in Sylhet

Rab-9 recovered a pistol, from the Dhopaghat area in Dakshin Surma upazila in Sylhet on Friday afternoon.

At a press conference in the afternoon, commanding officer of Rab-9, told the media about Friday’s operation.

He said acting on a tip-off, Rab members conducted a drive in the afternoon and seized the pistol in the Dakshin Surma.

The drive would continue, said sources of the Rab-9.

Khairul Fozol, officer-in-charge of Dakshin Surma Police Station, said a cases had so far been filed in connection with the arms recovery.
