58Bollywood is an industry of glamour and fame. It is a dream of thousands of people to get into the entertainment industry but only a few make it to the top of the tinsel town.We get to see the industry giving a chance to many new faces. But, as we all know, it is a place where fame does not last long. Though there are certain actors and actresses whom we continue to remember because of their performances and contribution to the film industry, there are also many of those who rose for a certain period of time and have now gone missing from the industry. Here is a list of some of the faces of Bollywood who have wooed the audiences in the past, but went missing without a trace.Kim Sharma: The hot and sexy Kim Sharma came to fame with the Aditya Chopra’s film ‘Mohabbatein’ in which she was launched along with five other new faces. She first came in the industry through advertisements for Sunsilk, Pepsi, Tata Safari, etc.She tried her hand at other films like ‘Yakeen’, ‘Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai’, ‘Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar’, ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’ and many more. She was last seen in ‘Loot’ which released in 2011.Aftab Shivdasani: Aftab Shivadasani started off as a child artist in the industry with the film ‘Mr India’. Before getting a break as the lead in the movie he was seen in many TV commercials. Then Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Mast’ happened, his first debut Bollywood film as a lead opposite Urmila Matondkar.Urmila Matondkar: Another actor who debuted as a child artist, Urmila Matondkar made her screen debut in the 1980 film Kalyug. She debuted as an actress in the Malayalam film ‘Chanakyan’. In Hindi cinema, she made her mark with films such as Rangeela, Judaai, and Satya, all of which earned her Filmfare nominations.But Matondkar lost her plot and gave some massive flops in the 2000s culminating in her vanishing too.Mahima Chaudhry: This Indian actress started out as an actress in the industry with the hit 1997 film Pardes, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She has done many films in a variety of roles like Daag: The Fire, Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin, Dhadkan. But she didn’t make it to the top.Dino Morea: Dino Morea began his career as a model before becoming an actor in the industry. His first film was ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ opposite Rinke Khanna.Jugal Hansraj: Jugal Hansraj too made his debut in the industry as a child artist in the 1983 film ‘Masoom’. The blue eyed boy has appeared in many advertisements such as Vicks Vaporub, Saffola, Nutramul. His career kicked off with ‘Aa Gale Lag Jaa’ in 1994, in which just like Aftab he too starred opposite Urmila Matondkar. He has acted in many films such as ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Salaam Namaste’. He was last seen in Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film in the industry ‘Aaja Nachle’ in 2007.
