Speakers attending the launching event of ‘Khudha O Shoundorjo’ told that, Writer A K M Abdullah has portrayed practical thinking and reflected the real life situations in his recently published novel. A K M Abdullah has successfully depicted the story of deprived and dispossessed people of our society with his creative power of writing.
A number of poets, journalists and writers attended the publishing event which made it vivid and colourful, which was held in 14th June in Montefiore Centre in East London.
The book launching event was presided over by President of Shonghoti Shangshad Poet Iqbal Hossain Bulbul. Advocate Mojibul Haque Moni took part in the discussion of the novel.
Tuhin Chowdhury read the speech of prominent Writer and Poet Ataur Rahman in his absence.
Guest speakers who addressed the audience included former Councillor Khalil Kazi, Cllr Ayesha Chowdhury, publisher of the novel Shahnur Miah, Poet Abir Islam, Poet Moshahid Khan, Poet MD Iqbal and others.
Other speakers were former Cllr. Mamunur Rashid, Freedom-fighter Aman Uddin, Mostofa Miah, Abdul Basir, Poet Talukdar Raihan, Shamshul Alam Parvez, Muhibur Rahman Chowdhury, Abu Sufian Talukdar, Poet Ayub Ali, Poet Ahmed Hossain Bablu, Asma Motin, Poet Mohammod Muhib, Poet Najrul Islam, Poet Jamil Sultan, Sheikh Shamsul Islam, Manjur Ahmed, Abdul Qaium Hannan and others.
The speakers said that poets and writers are continuing their work despite the limitation of money and their hard working life in the UK. They are continuing with their writing just satisfy their emotional needs, not to gain any financial return.
Speakers attending the event highly praised the work and complemented A K M Abdullah for his hard work.
