Stevenage Borough council and community innovation and creative enterprise Pod53 organised an Indian and Bangladeshi curry cooking training for children and young adults aged between 11 and 19. The training session was held on 6th August at Pod53 hall room. Around 50 children and young adults took part at the training session and quiz competition.
Celebrity Chef and BCA central committee Senior Vice President Oli Khan delivered the cooing workshop. While providing the training he also discussed on the problems suffered by the curry industries in the UK now. He also mentioned that curry has taken a leading position now amongst the dishes eaten by the people of the UK.
Other guests who attended the meeting included former Mayor Councillor of Stevenage Borough Council Sherma Batson MBE, Director of the training project Barnadit Ramp, Community activist John Gardnar.
Oli Khan entertained the audience with this food. Guests who were present praised highly of Oli Khan’s cooking.
