Brady Garden’s new Mosaic artwork is revealed

SAMSUNG CSCVolunteers and the Members from the Brady Garden have put up a new mosaic board with artwork inspired

by William Morris’s designs from nature (English textile designer, 1834-1896) as well as Moorish patterns

which incorporated geometric shapes into garden designs.

Shara Ismail, Garden Coordinator: “It has taken many hands to create the mosaic piece and a big shout

goes out to all the volunteers from the local community, which included school students”

The Brady Garden is due to install a solar-powered water feature in front of the mosaic to add to the

display. The group are also looking to partake in creative collaborations with other groups with similar aims.

The Brady Garden are due to hold a special open day in the summer this year.

Can you guess which plant leaves are shown on the mosaic? (Clue: the plants are growing in the Brady Garden)
