BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Barrister Zaima Rahman attended the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC.
Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, represented her father, Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of BNP, at the event, marking her entry into the international political arena.
The event, which took place in Washington DC on February 6, began at 7 am and lasted for seven hours. It brought together prominent figures from various sectors, including politics, society, diplomacy, business, and culture from around the world.
Typically held on the first Thursday of February, the event was attended by President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, senators, members of Congress, as well as invited global leaders and influential business and professional personalities.
