Stephen Tim MP joins in a meeting organised by Greater Lamakazi Welfare Association

Community organisations are playing an important role in development of the development in their local areas which he witnessed while he was travelling to Sylhet this year. He also praised highly of the work undertaken by Lamakazi Welfare Association in treatment of local eye patients. He told this in the annual Iftar Mahfil and Charity fundraising at Impression Hall in East Ham on 21^st of June.

Senior Vice-president of the organisation Sadequzzaman presided over the meeting and General Secretary Abdus Salam was responsible in overall for day’s activities. The event was jointly conducted by Shahnaj Miah, Ajim Miah and Farzana Miah.

The special guests at the event were Cllr Ayesha Chowdhury, orgnisation’s former President and UP Chairman of Mogolgaon Hiron Miah, former President Faruque Ali, Dowlot Khan Babul, Cllr Shah Alam, Vice-president Shaista Miah, Lutfur Rahman Selim, Nur Mohammod Saruf, Mosharrof Ali, Advisor Faruque Mahfuz, Kosir Miah, Selim Rahman, Sahnur Alam, Samir Ali, Abdul Kahhar, Enamul Haque, JobaerAhmed, Jabed Miah, Foyjul Haque Moktar Ahmed and others.

Qari Habibur Rahman conducted the Munajat.

Shanaj Khan, Najia Yasmin, Jahed Miah, Jeba Mohammod, Synthia Jaman, Lima, Hajera, Farhana, Jakia, Fahmida and Sultana addressed the audience on behalf of new generation members. They also raised fund for Lamakazi Association by selling homemade food to the audience.
