There is winning and there is defeat in every election: Mina Rahman

There is winning and there is defeat in every election. I am not sad that I could not win, my party has formed the government with single majority, and this is my achievement. Conservative Party candidate for Barking and Dagenham Mina Rahman said this in a election reflection meeting held in House of Commons on 24 May.
She also said that she is not frustrated with the result as Conservative Party did not have any foundation there, but now, thanks to her election campaign group, Conservative party has obtained a significant numbers of voters in Barking and Dagenham.
The meeting was presided over by Lord Tailor. The other speakers included Sergeant in the Arms House of Commons Jill pay, Head of the Research at the Centre for Entrepreneurs Sara Fink and Economist Shaun Richard.
